Privacy Notice
This notice explains how SILCAP processes information provided through website contact and project-review channels. It is designed for a practical B2B inquiry process and does not create a marketing subscription.
1. Data controller

2. Information we process
- name, company, business email, telephone and contact details;
- project, application, quantity, material, packaging, documentation and target-market information;
- drawings or project files voluntarily submitted with an inquiry;
- technical security information normally generated by hosting and email infrastructure, such as server logs.
3. Why we process it
Information is used to receive and answer enquiries, evaluate a potential silicone project, identify missing technical inputs, prepare commercial follow-up where appropriate, protect the website from abuse, and maintain records required for legitimate business and legal purposes.
4. Legal basis
Depending on the circumstances, processing is carried out because it is necessary to respond to steps requested before a possible business relationship, for SILCAP’s legitimate interests in managing B2B enquiries and website security, and where necessary to meet applicable legal obligations. Separate consent is requested only where the relevant processing specifically requires consent.
5. Storage and service providers
SILCAP does not use the project-review form to create a third-party marketing database or CRM profile. Inquiry records are retained within SILCAP’s business records and email workflow. Hosting, security and email providers may process data only as technically necessary to deliver those services and must be configured with appropriate safeguards before production use.
Files uploaded with the form are intended for temporary delivery processing and should not be retained permanently by the website server after delivery to SILCAP.
6. Retention
Project enquiries that do not become an active commercial relationship are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a shorter or longer period is required for a legitimate legal or business reason. Records that become part of an active customer, order, accounting or legal relationship follow the retention rules applicable to those business records.
7. Cookies and analytics
This release is not intended to use advertising, behavioural profiling or marketing analytics cookies. Necessary technical mechanisms and server logs may be used for hosting, security and reliable operation. If analytics or marketing technologies are introduced later, the notice and consent mechanism must be reviewed before activation.
8. Your rights
Individuals may exercise the rights available under applicable data-protection law, including the rights provided by Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR. Requests should identify the person and the relevant processing sufficiently for SILCAP to evaluate the request.
